Wakefield Trinity Ladies 2018 Season Starts Sunday

Head coach Wayne Hirst will select from a full squad and has a healthy headache narrowing it down to the final 20 players.

Hirst commented, “We are all looking forward to Sunday’s game, Hull FC Ladies are a brand new team so we are expecting the unexpected from them. I’m pretty sure they will have a similar squad to myself with a mixture of youth and experience so it’s going to be a good battle.

“The team have trained well and are eager to get on the field and get stuck in, it is going to be a great test and it will give us a sound marker for us to build on this season. It would be great to see as many people as possible come along and support he Wakefield Trinity Ladies”.

Wakefield Trinity Chairman, Michael Carter said, “We would like to wish the ladies team the very best for Sunday and will be willing them on and keeping up to date via twitter as unfortunately we cannot be their due to our first team fixture here at the stadium. Wayne has been working really hard and I know the ladies are raring to go on Sunday, good luck to all and let’s get the win!”
