Physical Disability Rugby League
Physical disability rugby league (PDRL) is a full contact version of rugby league adapted for participants with a physical disability who want to access a running version of the game.
PDRL is competitive but has a wider focus on enjoyment in participating in team sport as well as impact on all the wider social benefits the sport of Rugby League provides.
Our PDRL team at Wakefield Trinity have been very successful in recent seasons reaching the grand final three seasons in a row and winning the league leaders shield this season. We have also had five players represent England, two players on the staff for New Zealand, and one player on the staff for Wales at the PDRL World Cup. The team train on Monday evenings at The Be Well Support Stadium, if you are interested in joining the team, please contact Charlie.doherty@wakefieldtrinity.com
