It is with great pleasure that we can announce our first major fundraising event of 2018 will be the return of ‘Walk with Wakey’.
A huge thank you to Barclays who have kindly agreed to partner with us for this event.
On Sunday 29th April, we travel to Castleford to take on the Tigers in round 8 on the Betfred Super League. We would like to invite supporters to trek there with us on a sponsored walk.
The walk from The Mobile Rocket Stadium to the Mend-A-Hose Jungle is approximately 9 miles (14.5 kilometres) and is likely to take 2.5hrs to complete.
Each participating individual will need to contact the Club for a sponsorship pack; this includes all the information that you will need for your “Walk with Wakey”. All sponsored walkers will receive a standard match ticket for the fixture that evening and we kindly ask you raise £50 (or more if you can!!)
Under 18 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
