We are looking for two enthusiastic individuals to join our growing community team. Are you passionate about rugby league and sport with an eye for developing sustainable participation growth in our great community?

  • Rugby League Development Officer – Women & Girls Lead
  • Rugby League Development Officer – Disability Sport Lead

Both posts will be subject to an enhanced DBS check with interviews taking place week commencing 26th March.

Development Officer – Disability Sport Lead

Location – Wakefield, WF1 5EY

Salary – £16k +

Hours – Full Time

Contract – Contract/Permanent

The Wakefield Trinity Community Trust is looking to appoint a Rugby League Development Officer to lead on the Disability sport programme. The position is to foster and support the growth of rugby and other sports in Wakefield.

The successful applicant will report directly to the Community Development Manager and will work closely with all other members of the staff team and the Trustees.

The role requires a highly organised individual who is self-motivated, able to work under pressure and without supervision, but also a team player with a sound knowledge and experience of sport and working with disabled persons.

There will be a particular emphasis on achieving growth within the Disability sector whilst also delivering key objectives in line with the Sky Try programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to become part of a small award winning enthusiastic team, working in a unique Super League environment.

This position is full-time with reviews at both six and twelve months.

Ideally the successful candidate will be available to start work in April 2018.

The post is to be based at The Mobile Rocket Stadium, responsible to the Community Development Manager of the Trust.
