Match Preview | Wakefield Trinity Ladies RL vs Bradford Bulls Women

Wakefield Trinity Ladies host their first Betfred Women’s Super League game of the year as Bradford Bulls head to the Be Well Support Stadium on Saturday

Ourselves:

Wakefield Trinity Ladies will be looking to dust themselves down and go again this weekend, looking to avenge last week’s defeat at Warrington

A difficult game at the Halliwell Jones saw the Ladies fall to an agonising defeat, however, with the likes of Cassy Lawson and Lisa Taylor returning to the side, Trinity will be hopeful of beating the Bulls.

The Opposition: Bradford Bulls Women

Bradford Bulls got their first win of the Super League season last weekend, beating Leigh Miners Rangers 12-8 in a close-knit affair.

Their round two victory came after the Bulls fell to a strong Featherstone side the week before as they look to build up some momentum in the coming weeks.

The Coach:

Wakefield Trinity Ladies’ coach Charlie Doherty previews Saturday’s clash with Bradford.

“It was a tough day against Warrington but when we had possession, we were getting to the points on the field we’ve been working on and creating overlaps we were sometimes just picking the wrong pass.

“Bradford is a team we’ve played against quite a few times in the past, so we know that it’s going to be a tough game and one that both teams are going to be up for.”
