Taylor excited by Bulls clash

Wakefield Trinity Ladies’ Lisa Taylor is looking forward to the challenge as we face Bradford Bulls in the Betfred Women’s Super League on Saturday.

Following back-to-back league defeats to start 2022, lessons have been learnt and plans have been put in place as we aim to bounce back and claim our first victory of the Super League season.

“I’m sure the coaches will have prepared the girls well for what’s to come. We know what we have to work on from previous games, it’s only us that can put it into play on the day.

“I’m looking forward to it [the game]. It’s been hard not playing the first couple of games, due to being away, so, this is a good one to come back to.”

Taylor has been a constant figure in the side over the last couple of seasons, moving down from loose forward to centre for the 2022 campaign.

This is a switch that Taylor is extremely excited to make and is looking to use her experience to have a positive impact on Saturday.

“I come with ‘years’ of experience and play with my heart on my sleeve.

“I give my all, and if the lasses can do the same and work hard for each other I’ll be happy. All we need to do is find a weakness and exploit it.”
