Wakefield Trinity Ladies RL head to Cadishead ARLFC on Sunday as we hope to back up our pre-season victory over Hull KR against Salford on Sunday.

A positive first run-out of 2022 ended in victory for Trinity, who scored four tries to complete a comprehensive 32-4 victory over the Robins in Upton.
First-half scores from Millen Downs, Cassy Lawson, Abbie Millward and Leonie Lawson gave Trinity an 18-0 lead at the interval.
Despite a KR resurgence early in the second half, tries from Brooke Price, Jade Key and a Leonie second completed the victory.
However, a trip across the M62 will prove a different type of test for Trinity, who look to maintain their pre-season form as the 2022 season edges closer.
Salford Red Devils
Trinity will be Championship side Salford Red Devils’ third pre-season outing when they meet at Cadishead on Sunday.
Chris Bates’ side ran out comfortable winners over League One side Swinton last month before they fell to Wigan on Sunday.
With a strong pack and a will to end their pre-season with victory, the Red Devils will prove to be a stern test for this new-look Wakefield outfit at the weekend.
The Coach:
Wakefield Trinity coach, Ash Bond, was pleased with his side’s display on Sunday, however, he has admitted that there is much more work to do before the season opener.
“We will be preparing again this week to try and iron out some of the things we picked up on against Hull KR.
“We are only at the start of our journey with the squad we have brought together. I’m confident that Salford will be coming at us with everything they have, and it would be wrong to underestimate them.
“Having got the win on Sunday, that should, hopefully, simmer some of the nerves for next week, but it will again be exciting to get this squad onto the pitch in Trinity colours and see what more they can do.”
