TJs Travel extends Partnership with Foundation!

March 16, 2026

Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation are delighted to announce that TJs Travel have extended their Key Partnership with the Foundation for the 2026 season!

TJs Travel joined as a Key Partner of the Foundation last year, becoming the Principal Partners of the Wakefield Trinity Boys and Girls Aspire programmes alongside being a Team Partner for our Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Wheelchair teams.

The Aspire programme provides male and female players in Years 10 and 11 with playing, training and development opportunities as led by the Foundation’s team of Rugby League coaches. The support from TJs Travel has allowed the Foundation to ensure all players have training wear for the 2026 season alongside supporting other logistical costs.

Alongside their backing of Aspire, TJs Travel provides coaches to away matches and Festivals for our LDSL, PDRL and Wheelchair squads, ensuring that we can help provide as inclusive an experience as possible for all three teams.

Operating a number of contracts across the Wakefield District since 2013, TJs Travels are a Wakefield-based and family-run minibus and coach hire company. With a fleet of 45 vehicles, including minibuses, coaches and team coaches, they cover a variety of work, such as private hires, school trips and corporate transfers.

TJs Travel Managing Director and Transport Manager, Jamie Ndlovu, said: “I’m really pleased that TJs Travel can continue our Partnership with the Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation, as we grow our relationship with Wakefield Trinity.

“It’s amazing to be able to give something back to our local community through this Partnership and continue the relationship into 2026.

“The Aspire programme was our company’s entrance into partnering with the Foundation. My son was on the programme and has now progressed into the Academy, so I’ve seen first hand that it’s a pathway that really works and supports players from any background and age range.

“We’re also really pleased to help support the LDRL, PDRL and Wheelchair teams as Team Partner too, in particular supporting their travel to Festivals and matches.

“Having heard some of their stories around getting to games through buses, taxis and car shares, it’s great to support them through our coaches, which should help the team cohesion and environment and bolster their overall experience.”

Wakefield Trinity Head of Foundation, Luke Shale, said: “We’re privileged to continue our Partnership with TJs Travel for 2026, whose support has been invaluable for both our Aspire programme and three Inclusion teams.

“The backing from TJs Travel has allowed the Foundation to further professionalise our offering for the Boys and Girls Aspire players alongside ensuring the best quality of travel for our LDRL, PDRL and Wheelchair teams as they head across the country for matches and Festivals.”

“I’d personally like to give a massive thank you to Jamie and the rest of the TJs Travel team for their support on behalf of everyone at the Foundation.”
