Tray Lolesio will join Super League side Bradford Bulls on a one-week loan to help with injury and suspension trouble the Odsal side are currently enduring.
He will face off against Huddersfield Giants on Friday 20th March the same day as Trinity take on Leigh Leopards.
Lolesio joined Wakefield in the off-season from Queensland Cup side, Redcliffe Dolphins and impressed during pre-season friendlies against Leeds Rhinos and Hull KR. He made his First Team debut in the club’s Challenge Cup fixture away at Swinton Lions but is yet to feature in Super League.
The front rower celebrated the birth of his child with his partner but postponed Reserves games as well as illness have left him with limited game time to fight his way into the Trinity lineup.
Wakefield’s Director of Rugby, Ste Mills said: “We highly rate Tray and know that he’ll be a key part of our side throughout the 2026 season. Unfortunately for Tray he’s behind a number of great forwards that we have here at the club who are performing at a high level. It’s key to make sure that Tray is match fit and playing regular rugby with this loan allowing him to play at the highest level against Super League opposition.”
