Wakefield Trinity Ladies is delighted to announce that Jason Talbot will take the reins for the 2023 season.
Following a turbulent 2022, Trinity was on the lookout for some stability, announcing Talbot as head coach as he looks to rebuild and remodel the team in time for the start of next season.
Being no stranger to the women’s game, Jason has been a part of the Ladies’ set-up at Wakefield Trinity for some time, acting as Team Manager for a number of years.
These skills and experience are no doubt going to set him on the right track as he looks to navigate his players throughout 2023.
“I am really excited to take over and see where we can get to next year,” said Talbot.
“We are, pretty much, starting afresh in 2023, so we have to look to rebuild and, hopefully, win a few games along the way.”
While, Head of Foundation, Mark Brennan, followed, “Jason has plenty of experience with Wakefield Trinity Ladies, and I have no doubt that he is the right man for the job.
“Having the knowledge of the club and ladies’ team was extremely important for us as we look to the future of women’s sport.”
