Wakefield Trinity are delighted to announce that Romain Franco has signed a contract to remain at the club in 2024.
Romain, 25 a Centre/Wing Three-Quarter joined the club part way through last season from French club St. Esteve where he had scored 52 tries in 67 appearance. His Super League games now amount to 11 with 7 for Catalans in 2021/22 and 4 for Trinity last season scoring 2 tries for the club.
Romain will be looking to use his pace and attacking flair to add to that tally in hopefully a very successful 2024 season in the Championship.
Head Coach Daryl Powell said: ‘Romain will add strength and depth to our back division next season. He played in different positions last year, which shows he’s a flexible player. He is quick and strong and works hard to be the best he can be. I look forward to working with him to help him be a consistent member of the team.’
Trinity fans, get ready to cheer him on; he’s set to light up the pitch next season. With Romain onboard, Wakefield Trinity’s looking stronger than ever. We’re pulling out all stops for 2024, aiming to show everyone we’ve got what it takes for the Super League.
