It’s been very busy meeting the staff and the players. I have met and spoken to most of them but there are still a few to get around to in the coming week. The reaction from the players has been very positive. 

The lads who are being retained are all determined to get the club back into the Super League and make the coming season a special one for everyone connected with the club. The new signings share our ambition and are looking forward to joining us on our journey. 

The off-field staff have also all been very positive and even though there are off-field areas the club must improve on, I feel we have a solid foundation to build on. We are looking forward to the coming week with further signings and retentions to be announced as and when we get them over the line. 

We are also excited about the new kit launch and season tickets will be launched in the next 7 to 10 days. Throughout this week I will be making further statements which will include IMG and the 5 main areas where clubs will be graded going forward. 

Further updates on the new east stand and improvements to supporters’ and players’ facilities will also be outlined. Lastly, we are looking to do some exciting shareholder and supporter events in the new stand which Morgan Sindall estimates to be ready by the end of November.
