YOU MUST READ AND AGREE TO FOLLOW THIS CODE OF CONDUCT AT ALL TIMES. IF YOU ARE LEADING A GROUP ATTENDING A MATCH, MAKE SURE THEY HAVE ALSO READ AND ADHERE TO THIS CODE OF CONDUCT.
THIS CODE IS DESIGNED TO HELP CREATE A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE ENVIRONMENT AND TO PROTECT YOU AND YOUR FELLOW SUPPORTERS. TO ASSIST OUR STAFF PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO KNOW WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU. IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY WITH THIS CODE, YOU MAY BE DENIED TRAVEL ON THE DAY.
Covid-19 and variants – before purchasing a ticket, and again before attending a match, you must decide whether it is appropriate for you to attend, including careful consideration of associated risks and your vulnerability status. This will include consideration based on your own personal circumstances (including your age, health status and susceptibility to infection).
This Code of Conduct applies automatically to all Supporters who travel to an Away Match on a Club organised Coach. By purchasing a ticket, a Supporter is deemed to accept these conditions of travel.
Details of the departure times, prices and availability will be posted on the Club’s website (www.localhost) or by contacting the Club Shop on 01924 211611(option 1). Coach tickets are non-transferable. It is the Supporter’s responsibility to advise the Club at the time of booking of any special seating requirements suitable for their needs, which the Club will try to meet, subject to availability. It is the Supporter’s responsibility to ensure that they are fit to travel on the Coach. If you are unable to travel after purchasing a Coach ticket, please contact the Club for assistance.
Coaches depart from and return to the Main Car Park at Belle Vue Stadium, Doncaster Road, Wakefield, unless otherwise notified by the Club.
It is the responsibility of the Supporter to ascertain the new date and kick-off time for all rearranged Away matches if the fixture schedule changes. Full details will be shown on the Club website.
Coaches will not wait for Supporters who are late for the outgoing or return journeys. Coaches will leave at the time specified to Supporters. The return Coach journey will usually depart thirty (30) minutes after the final whistle. However, this time may change depending on local restrictions and policies. The Club accepts no liability and will not provide a refund to any Supporter who misses the Coach by being late for any reason.
A Supporter must have a valid Coach travel ticket to board the Coach. Supporters may reserve seats. Supporters must occupy the same seat for both the outbound and return journey. Children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by an adult Supporter and must occupy a separate seat next to this person.
The Club reserves the right to move a Supporter to a different allocated seat at any time at its sole discretion.
It is prohibited for a Supporter to bring hot food, alcohol, illegal drugs, illegal items, or dangerous items (including but not limited to fireworks, firecrackers, smoke canisters, air horns, flares, laser devices, glass bottles or any item that might be used as a weapon or compromise public safety) on to the Coach. The Club reserve the right to implement a policy to search Supporters and their belongings before boarding a Coach and any prohibited items removed if such items are found. Such items will not be kept by the Club, the Supporter will be responsible for their disposal. The Club reserves the right under this policy, without liability, to remove or refuse boarding to anyone who does not adhere to these rules.
All Supporters must behave in a reasonable manner. The Club reserves the right, without liability, to remove or refuse boarding the Coach who is or who has been in the past, in the reasonable opinion of the Club, drunk, abusive, violent, or is behaving or has behaved in an inappropriate manner. By way of an example, foul and abusive language, banging on windows and making rude or offensive gestures to opposing fans or the public out of the windows these are all prohibited. Supporters are responsible for any damage or loss caused to the Club because of their behaviour.
Supporters must clear their seat area of any rubbish or other items upon return to Belle Vue. The Club accepts no responsibility for Supporter’s possessions which are left on the Coach.
The Club does not accept any liability in respect of loss or damage to Supporter’s vehicles (or any possessions therein) that are either on or off the Clubs premises whilst they are travelling on a Coach to or from an Away match.
The Club reserves the right without liability to any Supporter or any other third party-
- To vary this Code of Conduct from time to time
- To discontinue the provision of Away Coach travel (subject to repayment in respect of any advance tickets purchases).
- To remove or exclude any Supporter from a Coach for any breach or non-observance of this Code of Conduct (acting reasonably) for any other reason. For the avoidance of doubt no refund will be paid to any Supporter in these circumstances.
