Daryl Powell welcomes back his England International winger to his 21-Man Squad to take on Hull KR.
The Betfred Super League Round 13 clash will take place on Saturday 6th June (KO: 4:30pm) with the Super League champions rolling into the DIY Kitchens Stadium.
The game will be a sombre one as Wakefield celebrate the lives of John Kear and Geoff Oakes who sadly passed away last weekend.
Tributes will be paid to both Trinity legends with a minute’s silence prior to kick off.
Wakefield enjoyed back to back victories before the Challenge Cup Final break with wins over Catalans Dragons and Toulouse helping Trinity cement a top six place at the midpoint of the 2026 season.
Rovers will be coming into the game a little battered and bruised following their Challenge Cup Final defeat to Wigan Warriors at Wembley. Despite a slow start to 2026 losing three of their opening four Super League games, the Robins have put together a seven game unbeaten run in the league to bounce back into the top four.
Tickets for the game are still on sale with over 8,000 fans expected once again at Belle Vue.
As confirmed earlier this week, Tom Johnstone will return to the Trinity 21-Man Squad in the only change to Powell’s side.
The 30-year old was on top form having grabbed 7 tries in 6 games in the 2026 season before an achilles inflammation put him on the sideline.
Will Tate comes out of the 21-Man Squad to make way for the England International.
