Wakefield Trinity Ladies RL is delighted to confirm that Nasstar has agreed to become our official graphic sponsor, appearing on all the gameday & line-up social media assets for the 2023 season.
Launched in 2000, Nasstar is a leading Cloud and Communication services provider. With an integrated suite of services, they have differentiated Polaris Proposition designed for enterprise and public sector customers rapidly transitioning to cloud and digital technology.
With one of its largest UK offices on Brandy Carr Road, Wakefield, Nasstar is looking to boost engagement with its local communities, with this new partnership is just one of many initiatives from Nasstar following their recently launched Women in Tech Employee Resource Group (ERG), made up of women and allies across its business to drive change and address important issues women face in the industry.
Following the announcement of our sponsorship of the team, we are pleased to confirm that the company will also be sponsoring fullback, Hebe Forbes, as she looks to play an instrumental figure at the club in 2023.
Following successful stints with Illingworth & Halifax Panthers Ladies, Hebe joined Wakefield at the start of last season, playing multiple games for the outfit throughout 2022. Now, boasting some of the most experience in the side, she is looking at guiding the side around the field, cementing her starting spot in the team firmly in the forefront of her mind.
Speaking on the all-new partnership, the Foundation’s Media & Commercial Executive, William Moore, said, “As a club, we are delighted that Nasstar has partnered with the Ladies’ side for the 2023 season.
“After speaking with Adam, it was clear to see that the organisation is keen on promoting women in tech, and to have them supporting our side for the new year is really important. I am looking forward to seeing Nasstar on all of our gameday & line-up graphics in the future.”
While Sally Blake-Exley, Co-Chair of the Women in Tech ERG at Nasstar followed, “Sponsoring Wakefield Trinity Ladies is a great opportunity to give something back to our local community, whilst supporting Hebe directly. We look forward to working with the club and continuing the advancement of women in tech generally.”
