Keith Mason to return to Trinity for Paul Gallen Allstars game

Keith Mason is the latest ex-player to confirm his place in the Trinity Allstars team for the Paul Gallen Allstars game on Wednesday 16th October!

NRL and International star Paul Gallen will lead his team in what is likely to be his final game of Rugby League!

The action packed evening is in support of the Life for a Kid charity along with Teenage Cancer Trust.

“It’s such a great honour to come back to the club where I started my journey as a professional Rugby League player and play in the Allstars game,” said Mason.

“It’s all for a great cause to raise money for Life For A Kid, who I’m a proud ambassador for, and also Teenage Cancer Trust.

“I have some very fond memories of Wakefield. Our backs were against the wall and that gave me a mental toughness for the rest of my career, that you play hard until the last minute.

“I’ll always be humbled and honoured to be part of this great clubs history in the time I was there. I never had a chance to say goodbye before my departure to Melbourne Storm, but I just want to say ‘thank you’ to the fans, players I played with, and everyone at the club.”

Mason, who played for Wakefield between 2000 and 2001, joins the likes of Jamie Rooney, Matty Blaymire, Dane Dorahy, Francis Maloney, Martin Pearson and Paul March for the game!

The game will kick off at 7.15pm. Entry is £5 adults, £1 juniors. All proceeds will go to both charities.
