Wakefield Trinity can announce the signing of Innes Senior from Huddersfield Giants on a one-month loan.

The outside back adds cover to Trinity’s roster following the injuries to Tom Johnstone and Lee Kershaw, plus the two-game suspension for Reece Lyne.

Senior, who stands at 6ft 4in, is looking forward to the opportunity at Trinity.

“I’m happy for the opportunity to get some game time and play with new and experienced players,” said Senior.

“I’d like to thank Huddersfield for allowing me to go on loan and Wakefield for showing interest in me and working to get the deal done. I’m excited to continue my development.”

Innes is in contention to make his debut in Saturday’s Coral Challenge Cup clash against Catalans Dragons.
