Following injuries sustained to Tom Johnstone and Jordy Crowther in Friday’s game with Wigan Warriors, Head Physio Ryan Carmody can now issue the following update.
Tom Johnstone
Scans have confirmed that Tom has suffered a lateral meniscus tear (cartilage) to his right knee. We are due to see the consultant early next week, although we don’t feel Tom is going to be out too long and we’re hopeful he’ll be back in action sooner rather than later.
Jordy Crowther
Jordy has suffered a ruptured MCL (Medial Collateral Ligament). The good news is that he won’t require surgery on this. In terms of a return, we’re looking at around ten weeks for Jordy.
