Matt Ellis outlines his plans in the latest statement regarding Fandom on the eve of our 2024 season ticket launch.
Good evening everyone, it is with great excitement that I can announce that our brand new season ticket webpage is ready to go live at 10am in the morning.
A link to the mobile friendly webpage will be sent out via social media and can also be accessed through the Wakefield Trinity official website. Season tickets can still be purchased in the club shop, but the season ticket model has been designed specifically for online ordering through mobile, desktop, laptop and tablet. I would encourage anyone who can order online to please do so.
We hope you will all be happy with the new options. Cheaper prices are now available, dependant upon which area of the stadium is preferred, whether it be the West Terrace, North Terrace or the brand new and newly named Neil Fox Stand. The pay monthly options, along with cheaper prices, will hopefully help some supporters who may have struggled to afford to buy a season ticket at this time of year to do so.
The message is clear from me, we would like to get as many supporters into the stadium both next year and in the years to come. Relegation from the Super League was disappointing for everyone, but we need to view the Championship season as part of our journey back to the top.
Every penny that is put in by you will be re-invested back into our club. I believe we are at the start of a special era in the club’s history and your backing is crucial for success. Getting the ground as full as possible and creating an electric atmosphere will show the Rugby League world what a special club we are.
We need to enjoy the year ahead, playing against teams and travelling to grounds that we haven’t visited in years. The aim is simple, to win the competition, but it will be even more special with as many of our supporters roaring our side on. We are building a squad that you will be proud of and want to visit Belle Vue and support.
This morning I witnessed training and yesterday was involved in the pre-season speeches and meetings. I was left in no doubt that that there is a togetherness developing amongst the coaching team and the players which can only help us to achieve great things this season.
IMG have a scoring criteria based around FANDOM. Because of this, it is crucial that we retain our existing support base, attract new supporters and re-ignite any previously dormant support. I can assure each and every one of you that Wakefield Trinity is beginning an exciting journey, so come on down and support the only professional sports team in the city of Wakefield. Let’s all get behind the lads and get back into Super League at the first time of asking.
Onwards and upwards, thanks everyone.
