Trinity full-back Scott Grix has extended his stay at the club after signing a one-year extension on his current deal which will see him in the red, white and blue until the end of 2019.
Grix, 33, signed for Trinity for the second time in his career at the start of the 2017 season from Super League side Huddersfield Giants.
The Irish international had previously played for Wakefield in the 2008/09 season making 46 appearances and scoring 20 tries before he joined Huddersfield Giants in 2010.
Scott Grix said, “I am really happy to have signed for a further year, I really enjoyed last season especially with how well we did. The signings the club has made along with the resigning of key players, it shows how far we have come and I am excited to be involved in the next couple of years.
Head Coach, Chris Chester commented, “I am delighted he has signed for a further year, Scott is an influential player both on and off field. He played a large part in the success that we had on the field last year and I look forward to working with him for the next two seasons.”
