Wakefield Trinity is proud to have delivered over 2000 free tickets to schools ahead of Friday night’s clash with Toulouse.
With the recent news that under-16s will go free, the Foundation has been busy delivering tickets to school children situated across our network.
Whether this is Loves of Rugby League or pupils who have never heard of the sport in the past, all children will get the opportunity to attend a Super League showcase event, with Wakefield battling French side, Toulouse, at the Be Well Support Stadium.
Throughout the week, our School Sport Partnership, Rugby League and Health, Wellbeing and Inclusion staff have been up and down Wakefield, making sure everyone has a ticket for Friday.
Speaking upon the announcement of the initiative, Head of Foundation, Mark Brennan, said, “We are delighted to have the opportunity to offer free tickets to all pupils across the district.
“It is vital that everyone has the chance to watch a game of Super League in 2022 and it will be great to see so many faces attending a game for the very first time.”
To claim a free under-16s ticket ahead of Friday’s game, please go to the Ridings Club store or visit our online ticket portal.
