Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation are delighted to announce that we are holding Open Trials for our 2025 Wheelchair team later this month!
Wakefield Trinity Wheelchair enjoyed their first campaign in the RFL Championship East last year, claiming their first victory in a friendly against York Knights ‘A’.
Ahead of the new season, the Wheelchair team are hosting three Open Trials sessions at the team’s training base, Outwood Academy City Fields (WF1 4SF).
The Open Trials will take place on Wednesday 12th, Wednesday 19th and Wednesday 26th February (7.30pm – 9pm).
All interested players, including all newcomers, are welcome to attend the trials, with no past experience required.
Wheelchair Rugby League is one of the most inclusive codes of the sport and is open to male and female players, able-bodied and disabled players and anyone over the age of 14.
Please note that all Wheelchair Rugby League equipment will be provided for players attending the Open Trials.
