Wakefield Trinity have strengthened their squad by bringing in Mason Caton-Brown on a deal until the end of the season!
Caton-Brown returns to Trinity having most recently been playing Rugby Union 7’s in Hong Kong and is ready to go straight into Chris Chester’s squad for Thursday’s derby against Castleford!
Speaking on rejoining the club, Caton-Brown said:
“I’m really looking forward to getting started. I’m glad I’ve been given this opportunity to come back to Wakefield and carry on doing what I was doing from my time here before.”
He also added:
“All the boys have already started welcoming me so I’m looking forward to starting back with them. I’ve been following the team and they’ve been doing really well. I just can’t wait to get involved.”
Head Coach, Chris Chester, is delighted to have Caton-Brown on board:
“Mason knows what we’re all about and we know what Mason is all about. It’s a really good fit for the club. He had two really good years here and we’re pleased we’ve got some competition now in the outside backs and Mason will give us some real quality.
“He’ll be straight in Thursday. There’s no better way to start your second spell than a big local derby against Castleford.”
