A new era for Wakefield Trinity starts today with the relaunch of the Wakefield Trinity Women side.
With it comes new opportunities for players, volunteers and coaches to help grow and develop Women and Girls rugby within the Wakefield community.
The move sees the Womens side integrated under the Wakefield Trinity club having spent the past few years being operated and run by the Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation.
In line with the move, the club and foundation are hiring a new role that will act as Head Coach for the Wakefield Trinity Women team as well as play an integral part in developing pathways and player development with the community.
The Women & Girls Player Pathway Coordinator role will sit under the Community Foundation and work with a fantastic team that is in place to continue the work that has been started over the past 12 months to promote participation and inclusion.
To apply for the new role, please email your CV and Cover Letter to ste.mills@wakefieldtrinity.com
The club will be hosting a Launch Evening in the near future to officially open the new era of the Wakefield Trinity Women where you will be able to hear from Wakefield Trinity Owner, Matt Ellis, Mens Head Coach, Daryl Powell and Recruitment Manager, Ste Mills as they talk about future plans for the Womens team.
We would like to implore players, parents, volunteers and coaches to attend this open evening with opportunities spanning far beyond playing ones.
In terms of playing opportunities, any potential players that are interested in pulling on the famous Red, White and Blue, the club will be hosting a number of open trials as we look for the future stars of the Womens side.
