The big game this weekend is the top six battle between Wakefield Trinity and Warrington Wolves in the Betfred Super League at The Mobile Rocket Stadium but there will also be two other games held, both at half-time and post-match.
The ‘Triple-Header’ will feature the Learning Disability teams from Wakefield Trinity and Warrington Wolves playing a short exhibition game at half-time which is only the second in the UK but also a first for Yorkshire.
Both teams met last month as part of the Toronto Wolfpack vs Warrington Wolves Challenge Cup tie at the Halliwell Jones Stadium where they played in front of 6,507 people. The Wolves took the win, two tries to one, but everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we are certain they will in Wakefield too.
After the Super League battle you can witness the Physical Disability Rugby League game against Warrington Wolves Foundation who will feature Comedian Adam Hills, host of ‘The Last Leg’ TV show. Kick off will be 5.15pm and each half is 25 minutes in length. We would , as always, appreciate your support.
When the two teams met last month Warrington inflicted the first defeat for Trinity’s Physical Disability team which was neck and neck until the final ten minutes when Warrington finished off with a 26-14 victory.
For Wakefield, they will be buoyed by the commitment of Keith Mason, Nigel Wright and Alan Hunte who all return for more action as able-bodied players.
We look forward to your support and encouragement.
