Three Wakefield Trinity players head to Betfred Championship sides this weekend.
Kian McGann, Ellis Lingard and Charlie Abraham will gain valuable First Team experience as they play over the weekend for Halifax Panthers and Dewsbury Rams.
McGann rejoins the Panthers for their game against Oldham at The Shay on Sunday. The 19-year old has made one appearance for Halifax already in 2026, playing at fullback in their 50-22 win over North Wales Crusaders.
Lingard and Abraham will join Dewsbury Rams ahead of their game at the FLAIR Stadium against Widnes Vikings. Lingard has already played once for the Rams in 2026 having appeared in their 38-22 win over Workington Town.
Abraham has impressed in Trinity’s unbeaten Reserves side so far in 2026 and will now be in line to make his First Team debut for the Rams this weekend.
