Six of our youngsters have made the England Youth National Performance squad for the upcoming test series vs France in July.
Cory Hall, Dan Windrow, Harry Bowes, James Patrickson, Jordan Jones and Robbie Butterworth will all start training with the England squad from next month.
Head of Youth Mark Applegarth was thrilled to receive the news, “We are delighted that more of our youngsters are getting the chance to push for international honours at a young age, the England camps will match the best talent the country has to offer and it will be a great learning environment for our lads to test their skills and develop their games.
“I am also delighted for our Scholarship coaching team heading up by Tom Kittrick, they’ve being doing some fantastic things over the last 1-2 years and they’ll be over the moon for the lads selected. The hard work continues and hopefully some will get to pull on that England jersey on come July”.
