Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation are delighted to announce our brand new programme “Trinity Vets” in partnership with the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.
The veterans support hub will run from the Mobile Rocket Stadium, Belle Vue, on Wednesday mornings 10-12pm for military veterans who would like to attend to have a chat and reminisce about the armed forces, rugby league along with general practical support in day to day life management.
The Health, Welfare and support of our veterans are of paramount importance and where needed we will signpost to our partner specialist support services, we recognise the need to offer a social support group where any veteran can attend regularly to discuss anything they want with us.
Trinity Vets will start on Wednesday 14th October and will be informal and moulded and shaped to suit how our veterans choose, Jason Talbot; Royal Air Force Veteran and close friend of Wakefield Trinity will be on hand to lead each session on behalf of the Community Foundation and refreshments will be available for all attendees. We look forward to welcoming our veterans and building a strong friendship with us here at Wakefield Trinity.
