August 30, 2018

Trinity to be represented in three games of the women’s origin series this weekend.
Jordan Catling has been selected for the Yorkshire ladies u19s, along with team mates Danni Swaine and Lisa Taylor who will both represent the Championship White Rose open age ladies team. Taylor will also lead her county as captain of the side.
Both games will be played as a double header this coming Saturday at Featherstone Lions’ Millpond Stadium.
The following day will see the women’s Super League origin game take place over at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, where Wakefield Trinity will again be represented by James Stephenson who is on coaching duty with the Yorkshire team.
Michael carter said, “I’m delighted to see Wakefield Trinity represented in this weekends origin games. This is thoroughly deserved for all three of the ladies that have been selected as they have had excellent seasons so far. Wayne (Hirst) has been doing a tremendous job with our ladies team and we probably could have had a few more inclusions”.
“It also pleasing to see Stevo (James Stephenson) included in the coaching group for Sunday’s game, I would like wish Jordan, Danni, Lisa and Stevo the best if luck and to represent the Yorkshire rose with pride!”
