Wakefield Trinity are proud and honored to be nominated for a 2026 Stadium, Events & Hospitality Award.
For the second season in a row, the club has been nominated in the Visiting Rugby Directors category which is voted for by the Directors of each club. They are asked to nominate the club where they had the best away experience when travelling with their team.
The awards, sponsored by Global Payments Inc., will take place at Hill Dickinson Stadium, the new home of Everton FC on Thursday 2nd July 2026 just days before the Rugby League world descends on the stadium for Magic Weekend. Over 500 guests from 70+ clubs will experience fine dining, awards ceremony, followed by an exclusive onsite after party until 3am. 2026 will be the 19th annual awards event organised by Stadium Experience.
The prestigious event aims to recognise the efforts and dedication shown by the catering, conference and events teams at football, rugby and cricket stadiums across the UK. There will be a total of 15 different award categories and 45 awards presented on the evening.
Wakefield Trinity CEO Craig Barrass said: “We’ve worked extremely hard to improve the gameday experience across the stadium with our LED Director’s Lounge being the jewel in our crown as our premium hospitality offering. To be recognised by the other Directors around the league is a great honour and one that we are extremely proud of. It is a real testament to all of the hard work that the off-field team here at Wakefield do on a day to day basis.”
