With the League Leaders Shield just one win away, Wakefield Trinity have named a strong squad that will travel to Halifax this weekend.
The game will take place at The Shay Stadium on Sunday 25th August with a win clinching Trinity the top spot in the league.
Wakefield will lift the trophy at The Shay if they are to win the game on Sunday.
The two sides last faced off in June at the DIY Kitchens Stadium with Trinity walking away 46-24 winners.
Daryl Powell has been forced into two changes with Luke Gale and Isaac Shaw both picking up injuries last week, Gale in the final training session before the Widnes game while Shaw pulled up just minutes after coming on against the Vikings.
They are replaced by two welcome returns with Renouf Atoni now being fully fit while Mathieu Cozza has completed his three month stand down period after being dealt too many concussions in a short period of time.
Fans can still purchase tickets for the game from the club store in the Ridings Shopping Centre or through Halifax’s online ticket office.
Reminder that IF Wakefield claim victory, they will lift the League Leaders Shield at Halifax!
