Trinity Ladies Fixtures Announced

Wakefield Trinity Ladies get their 2018 Women’s Championship campaign underway with a home fixture against the newly formed Hull FC.

The two sides will meet on Sunday the 15th April with the fixture been played at Sharlston Rovers, kick off time TBC. The following week the ladies will travel over to Wigan St Pats on Sunday 22nd April.

With his first season in charge beckoning, Trinity Ladies Head Coach, Wayne Hirst, said, “We are Excited for the start of the season now. It’s been a tough start to pre-season due to the weather disruptions and having to get to know every individual and their abilities, but we are finally getting there.

“We have got some new faces to the team with a good mixture of youth and experience and things are finally coming together. We have high expectations of ourselves and hope to start strong and be challenging week in week out throughout 2018.

“2017 was a mixed year and I think the potential in this team is now starting to thrive, there is plenty of skill in our team and with the momentum and drive in the entire women’s game recently this has given them all that extra determination to succeed. They are all proud to wear the red, white and blue of Wakefield Trinity and hope to see as many of our great supporters coming along to cheer on the girls and enjoying a vibrant female competition”.
