Wakefield Trinity’s Physical Disability Team are in the playoffs this weekend as they look to potentially finish the first competitive season aiming to get to the Grand Final to be crowned champions! The team has had a very successful year finishing 2nd in the league table.
Wakefield Trinity’s PDRL captain Darren Dean said:
“We’ve had a great season so far. We were slightly unlucky not going undefeated in the league rounds, but this doesn’t reflect on every players effort throughout the year. The finals on Sunday are set to be really competitive again with all the teams rivalries at full steam to hopefully make it through to the grand final and ultimately become the inaugural PDRL champions!
Whatever the outcome of the day all the teams and players involved with the physical disability RL require a huge amount of praise and respect for what they have been able to showcase throughout the year! We are really looking forward to Sunday’s Finals”
