Trinity Fans To Help Whitehaven With Ticket Deal

Starting from 7pm today (Wednesday 4th September) any adult ticket for the Wakefield Trinity vs Whitehaven game will be priced at £10.

We are calling upon all Rugby fans far and wide to help support our Cumbrian friends with all money from the £10 ticket sales being donated to Whitehaven to help support their ongoing issues.

The game will take place on Sunday 8th September at the DIY Kitchens Stadium with the League Leaders welcoming Whitehaven.

Trinity Owner, Matt Ellis said: “We would like to rally all Rugby fans within the local area and further to help in supporting Whitehaven in their current climate. The tickets sales from tonight onwards will be donated to the club as a gesture of goodwill and support from our club to theirs.

We were extremely honoured and impressed with the level of hospitality that we received when we travelled up to Cumbria earlier this season and following on from the news around the problems the club were going through we wanted to give back and help where we could.

Here at Wakefield our fans have been absolutely incredible all year round in supporting our team and I’d like to encourage anyone that has not already bought a ticket to please buy one and come along on Sunday. Not only to support our team but help keep one of the historic Rugby League clubs alive.”

Fans will be able to purchase tickets for the game against Whitehaven from the Trinity club store in the Ridings Shopping Centre and from the clubs online ticket office here.

If you can’t get in store or can’t buy online, tickets will be available on gameday from our stadium ticket office for purchase.
