Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation is delighted to welcome The Yorkshire Broker as a partner as we look to increase our work with local businesses in Wakefield.
Upon initial conversations taking place in April, the Foundation greatly appreciated the support of the new, up-and-coming brokerage firm for our annual fundraiser, Walk with Wakey, where they donated to the cause, which was split between MY Hospitals Charity & the Foundation, ourselves.
From there, the partnership has gone from strength to strength, with Managing Director, Martin Weaver-Parker, and Commercial Director, Phil Hodgson, keen to expand the relationship even further as we look to promote the work we do.
Starting in January, The Yorkshire Broker has made huge strides in their first few months, bringing together people who might be like you, but just a little bit different; people who can help you out when you need them, give you a bit of advice when you think you’re the only one in your situation and someone who might just be buying what you’re selling.
They are a Business Insurance Broker, but also community builders, community investors and community lovers. As a team, they have over 40 years of experience in commercial insurance and have expertise in several sectors. With that, can offer you expert advice when it comes to your insurance.
Following the announcement of the all-new partnership, Martin & Phil have kindly donated a signed, and framed, Wakefield Trinity 2009 Home Shirt, which will be raffled off, with all funds donated going straight to the Foundation & our work in the community.
While, the firm has also pledged to sponsor PDRL player-head coach, Lee Whiteley, for the 2023 season as well as supporting our Ladies’ side through matchday package.
Speaking on the Partnership, Commercial Director for The Yorkshire Broker, Phil Hodgson, said, “We are delighted to have partnered with the Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation.
“After initial conversations, I was surprised by the amount of work they do for those situated in the community. As a Wakefield supporter and resident, myself, it’s great to see what they are doing to support those who need it most.
“As a new company in the city, myself & Martin are proud to be working with the Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation.”
While, the Foundation’s Media & Commercial Executive, William Moore, followed, “It was clear to see from the first conversation with Martin & Phil that reaching out into the community was at the heart of their business model.
“From their kind donation to Walk with Wakey to offering us a signed 2009 home shirt, their support has been second-to-none.
“It is really pleasing that we can add The Yorkshire Broker to our list of partners.”
