Tchamambe Here To Stay!!

Wakefield Trinity are pleased to announce that Neil Tchamambe has signed a two-year contract with the club!

Trinity have staved off interest from other Super League clubs to keep the talented winger at the club until the end of the 2027 season.

Tchamambe joined Wakefield from Hull KR in a deal which saw Noah Booth go the other way.

The 20-year old came through the Academy ranks at Leeds Rhinos before moving to the Robins in 2024.

Tchamambe made his first appearance in a Trinity jersey with the Reserves side last week bagging the first try of the game.

The 6ft 4 winger will be looking to develop further with Trinity alongside also playing with Betfred League 1 side, Goole Vikings.

Neil Tchamambe said: “It’s been great joining the club so far and to know that I’ll be staying longer is just brilliant. The players and coaches have been welcoming with my arrival and to be around this environment for much longer is exciting.”

Trinity Head Coach, Daryl Powell said:  “We are delighted that Neil has agreed to stay at the club. He’s a recent signing who has made a good impact since he’s come to the club and he’s another young outside back that we feel has a big future. I’m looking forward to seeing how much Neil can develop over the next few years.”
