Tanginoa Moves on from Trinity in Big Night of Announcements at Trinity

Wakefield Trinity is disappointed that Kelepi Tanginoa has made the decision not to remain at the club.

We held discussions to re-sign Kelepi and made a very competitive offer. However, our overriding feeling is that external approaches had already been made and an agreement had been reached beforehand.

He joined Trinity part way through the 2019 season from the NRL and in his first full season with the club was named in the Super League Dream Team.

He went on to play a total of 88 games for the club. 2023 proved to be a difficult season for Kelepi with persistent injuries restricting his appearances to only seven.

We would like to place on record our thanks to Kelepi for his contribution to the club and wish him and his family all the very best for the future.
