Our season comes to an end on Friday night – another season affected by Covid-19 restrictions, but a gradual return to crowds and a degree of normality and a hope that 2022 brings better fortune all round for the Club and our supporters.
We are still working to Covid-19 guidelines intended to protect spectators, staff and players and it is important that we do this to minimise the spread of Covid-19. Your support, adherence to guidelines and patience during our return to crowds has been excellent.
We are hoping to end the 2021 season in winning fashion and celebrate another victory in front of our loyal supporters, but we are asking that all supporters continue to remain on the terraces at the end of the game. Although it has been a Trinity tradition for fans to enter the field and share the season celebrations at the end of the last game, Covid-19 and RFL guidelines mean we must keep the players and spectators distanced.
The players will be paying tribute to the fans by doing a ‘walk of honour’ where you can show your appreciation too.
We are sure that you understand the reasons for this and will continue to support our protection of yourselves and the players.
We can look forward to 2022 and hopefully a return to ‘normal’, with a Trinity traditional end!
