Wakefield Trinity would like to sympathise with our fans after the cancellation of our Round 22 Betfred Super League game with Salford Red Devils which was due to take place on Sunday 17th August.
We would like to confirm that we were only made aware of Salford’s situation and the plan to cancel the game briefly before the statements, which fans will have seen online, were published.
Further updates regarding the result of this fixture and the status of our planned Round 27 fixture against Salford will be provided next week following meetings with the RFL.
Wakefield Trinity fans who have purchased Match Tickets and Coach Travel through our Retail Store in the Ridings Shopping Centre will be entitled to a full refund. Please bring your Match Tickets and receipt/proof of purchase into our Retail Store.
