Daryl Powell has made five changes to his 21-Man Squad ahead of Wakefield Trinity’s game with York Knights.
The Betfred Super League Round 25 clash will take place at the DIY Kitchens Stadium on Saturday 29th August (KO: 5:30pm).
Wakefield will be looking to bounce back after a run of defeats with a win this week confirming a spot in the 2026 Play Offs.
York currently sit on a six game losing streak of their own as the head towards the end of their first Super League season. The newbies sit 12th in the League Table as they look to end the season on a high.
Tickets for the game are still available on our ticketing website, through our Wakefield Trinity mobile app or from our Retail Store here at the DIY Kitchens Stadium.
Powell has welcomed back a host of first team stars with Tom Johnstone, Mason Lino, Jazz Tevaga, Jay Pitts and Isaiah Vagana all returning with a chance of playing against the Knights.
Johnstone (Knee), Lino (Calf), Pitts (Bicep), Vagana (Shoulder) have all recovered from their injuries to strengthen the Trinity side while Tevaga comes back in after serving a one match suspension.
Oliver Pratt, Matty Storton and Tray Lolesio picked up injuries in last week’s game against Wigan preventing them from returning to the field while Kian McGann and Emre Guler come out of the 21-Man Squad.
Daryl will face the media tomorrow afternoon to preview the game against York and speak about the changes and injuries in the squad.
