Squad numbers confirmed for LDSL, PDRL and Wheelchair squads

February 17, 2026

Wakefield Trinity are delighted to confirm the squad numbers for our LDSL, PDRL and Wheelchair teams ahead of the 2026 season!

Our LDSL, PDRL and Wheelchair teams, which are run by our Community Foundation, will have their names and numbers emblazoned on the back of their playing shirts for the first time in 2026, further demonstrating our commitment to provide as professional an experience as possible to our Inclusion players.

The LDSL team enjoyed another amazing season in 2025, taking part in a range of Community Integrated Care Learning Disability Super League Festivals across the country at stadiums including Newcastle’s St James’s Park, Leeds’s AMT Headingley Stadium and our very own DIY Kitchens Stadium.

In PDRL, Wakefield reached another Grand Final last year but fell to a hard-fought 12-4 defeat to Leeds Rhinos. Ben Nicholson’s side will be seeking to regain both the League Leaders’ Shield and Grand Final this season.

Meanwhile, our Wheelchair squad head into the inaugural RFL National Championship in 2026, with a new-look and 20-strong playing squad hoping for plenty of success following a developmental season last term.

Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation would like to give special thanks to our LDSL, PDRL and Wheelchair Principal Partners, Farrar Bamforth Architecture, Future Group (UK) Ltd and Yorkshire Property Services alongside Team Partners, TJs Travel!
