Trinity’s squad for Luke Gale’s Testimonial game against Castleford Tigers has been confirmed.
The game will kick off Gale’s Testimonial year with two of his former sides facing off at the DIY Kitchens Stadium on Friday 24th January.
The former England International finished his illustrious career at Wakefield helping the team back into Super League guiding them to a treble of trophies in 2024.
Earlier in his career, the 2017 Man of Steel winner enjoyed five seasons with Castleford Tigers between 2015 and 2019.
Trinity Head Coach, Daryl Powell has named a strong side for the pre-season friendly, with Wakefield fans getting to see their first look at newly named captain Mike McMeeken.
Max Jowitt, Liam Hood, Jay Pitts, Matty Storton and Matty Russell also come into the team having missed Boxing Day’s clash with Leeds Rhinos.
