Daryl Powell has made one change to his 21-Man Squad to take on Castleford Tigers in Rivals Round.
We welcome our neighbours down to the DIY Kitchens Stadium on Friday 24th July (KO: 8pm).
Wakefield have won their last five games in the Betfred Super League following last Thursday’s win over Bradford Bulls.
The Tigers came back from 16-0 down to beat League Leaders, Leeds Rhinos last week to snap a three game losing streak.
The sides have met twice so far in 2026 with Trinity romping to two huge victories. At the Onebore Stadium, Wakefield held the lads from WF10 scoreless as two Oliver Pratt tries helped them to a 34-0 win before a 48-6 trouncing at Magic Weekend saw Castleford embarrassed by their near rivals.
Tickets are selling quickly for the game with the North and East Stand completely sold out already way in advance of the game. Fans can still buy limited tickets for our South Stand with the West Stand still holding plenty of availability.
You can buy your tickets from our Retail Store at the DIY Kitchens Stadium, through our Wakefield Trinity app or via the link below
Trinity Head Coach, Daryl Powell has welcomed back Max Jowitt into the 21-Man Squad following his week in the Reserves side. The Wakefield number 1 has been out of the First Team since the last home game against Huddersfield Giants.
Jordan Williams is the man to make way from the squad.
Daryl Powell will face the press tomorrow to speak about his team selection and preview our opponents.
