Wakefield Trinity head to The OneBore Stadium to take on Castleford Tigers in the Rivals Round!!
The game will take place on Friday 5th September (KO: 8pm) and will be the third time in 2025 that the two sides have clashed.
It was a Mason Lino drop goal that sent the DIY Kitchens Stadium faithful into raptures in Round 8 as Daryl Powell started off life on the other side of the rivalry with a win. It was then destruction in the North East as Magic Weekend were treated to some rampaging tries from the Trin and Caius Faatili to claim another two competition points.
For this game, the Adam Watene Trophy is up for grabs. A great of both clubs, Adam played 54 times in the Red, White and Blue between 2006 and 2008 until his untimely passing. The trophy is contested for each year at the home ground of the current holders.
Daryl Powell has made two changes to his 21-Man Squad that beat Huddersfield Giants last week.
Lachlan Walmsley returns after being rested while Jack Croft returns to Wakefield following his loan with Salford.
Isaiah Vagana and Noah High drop out fo the squad.
