Sunday 5th April (KO: 3pm) will see the latest clash between Wakefield Trinity and local rivals Castleford Tigers at the OneBore Stadium.
To spice things up even further, the famous Adam Watene Trophy will be up for grabs after the Tigers retained it in 2025 following their 26-22 win at the back end of last season.
Watene famously played for both teams before his untimely passing in 2008 from heart complications aged just 31 and since 2009 the two sides have competed for the trophy to celebrate his memory.
Trinity enjoyed some good times against their neighbours in 2025 with a Mason Lino drop goal sending the DIY Kitchens Stadium into raptures before a dominant performance at Magic Weekend, topped off by THAT try from Caius Faatili.
Daryl Powell and his side will be looking to avenge the only blemish against his former side and pick up a victory at Wheldon Road.
Tickets for the game are now on sale both from the Trinity Retail Store and online via Castleford Tigers’ online box office.
