Wakefield Trinity can confirm that outside back Olly Pratt has joined York Knights on a loan deal until the end of the season, with Trinity holding a call-back option.
The highly-rated 18-year-old joins the Knights as he looks to gain valuable first team experience.
Trinity Head Coach, Mark Applegarth, said: “Olly is a player we have high expectations for over the next few years,”
“The next stage of his development is going into the Championship and gaining some experience playing at a good standard and against some quality opponents.
“I’m sure it will be a good experience for Olly playing under a good coach in Andrew Henderson and playing with some good professionals such as Danny Kirmond and players like that. We thank York for giving him this opportunity and we look forward to seeing how he goes.”
