Powell Makes Two Changes To Squad

Daryl Powell has named youngster Rowan Stephenson in the Trinity 21-man squad for the first time.

Wakefield will take on Barrow Raiders at the DIY Kitchens Stadium on Saturday 21st September (KO:6pm) as the Betfred Championship season heads into its final two rounds.

The sides have played twice already in 2024. In their first visit to Belle Vue, Barrow went down 30-12 in the AB Sundecks Cup Quarter Final as Trinity made their run to eventually lifting the trophy, then when Wakefield headed to Cumbria a Derrell Olpherts hat-trick helped the Championship league leaders to a 36-0 victory.

Stephenson is one of two changes to the Trinity squad as the Academy star is rewarded for his performances throughout 2024 with a call up.

Harvey Smith also returns to the team with Jermaine McGillvary and Thomas Doyle dropping out.

Fans can purchase tickets from our club store in the Ridings Shopping Centre, on matchday from our stadium ticket office or online right now here.
