Powell Makes Changes For Wire Trip

February 26, 2026

Wakefield Trinity have named their 21-Man Squad to take on Warrington Wolves in Round Three of the Betfred Super League.

Trinity will head over to the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday 28th February (KO: 5:30pm) as they look to make it two in a row at the home of Warrington following the 30-16 win in the same fixture in 2025.

After a win against Huddersfield last week, Daryl Powell will be looking to keep the momentum going against his former employers.

Warrington are coming off the back of a week off having rested during Round Two due to Hull KR’s commitments with the World Club Challenge. In Round One they handily dispatched of St Helens 24-14 in their opening game of the 2026 Super League.

Trinity fans are invited to get into the Halliwell Jones Stadium early to take advantage of the fantastic deals in the stadium concourses.

Powell has made three changes to the 21-Man Squad which took down Huddersfield last week.

The return of Caius Faatili is one that many Trinity fans will welcome with one of the breakout stars of 2025 fit and ready to make his first appearance of the 2026 Super League season.

Jayden Myers is also included after bouncing back from a knock that prevented the 22-year old from playing in the first two rounds.

Jordan Williams also comes back into the 21-Man Squad following an impressive performance for the Reserves against Leeds Rhinos.

Mason Lino picked up a hamstring injury in the week leading up to the Huddersfield game and will drop out alongside two-try hero, Lachlan Walmsley as well as Tray Lolesio.
