Performance Analyst Placement : Voluntary

Wakefield Trinity Rugby League Football Club are looking to appoint a voluntary performance analyst placement to assist and support the U19 academy with team analysis duties for the 2018/19 season.

Role:

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual who is looking to begin or further their career within performance analysis. The available roles will require weekend availability along with Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday late afternoons. You will report to the Head of youth and U19 Coach.

Duties include:

• Filming all home games and training
• Film some development and under 16 matches
• Prepare individual clips of player’s involvement during games/training to aid development.
• Update and maintain the clubs online video analysis resource.
• Prepare pre and post-match individual highlights for the U19 team.

These responsibilities are not exhaustive and may be added to as the role develops.

Essential Requirements:

It is essential that all candidates have started or completed an undergraduate degree in Sports Science, Performance Analysis or any other relevant disciplines. Demonstrate a good technical and tactical knowledge of the game• Must be competent and show good levels of I.T, Lliteracy, in particular the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and file sharing systems. Be reliable and trustworthy with sensitive Club information and equipment. Proactive and driven to succeed with attention to detail

Ideally live local to Wakefield or able to drive.
