In a heartwarming gesture this holiday season, Gary Spencer, Chairman of the Wakefield Trinity Past Players Association, and Lee Robinson, Secretary, embarked on a special mission.
They visited several of the club’s legends to extend holiday greetings and deliver hampers as a token of gratitude. More than just seasonal wishes, these hampers were also for the wives of these players, acknowledging their support and contributions over the years.
The Wakefield Trinity Past Players Association has seen significant growth in the past three years. It has become a vibrant community where former players reconnect, share memories, and rekindle old friendships.
The association organises numerous functions throughout the year, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and belonging among former teammates.
These gatherings offer a wonderful opportunity for ex-players to reminisce about their times at the club and to stay connected with the Wakefield Trinity family.
The association warmly invites any former players interested in re-engaging with the club and their peers to get in touch. They can reach out to Stu Dickens at sd@wakefieldtrinity.com to become a part of this thriving community.
Proudly sponsored by XBM Ltd, the Wakefield Trinity Past Players Association is not just about celebrating the past; it’s about maintaining a lifelong bond that extends well beyond the rugby field.
As the association continues to grow and bring together players from different eras, it underscores the rich heritage and enduring spirit of Wakefield Trinity.
